Volunteer drivers for the community car scheme

Our community car scheme gets people to hospital and doctor appointments when they have no other way of getting there.
What it involves
- Driving a neighbour to an appointment and back, usually a morning or an afternoon.
- You choose which journeys you take — there is no rota you have to fill.
- Mileage is covered, and the office sorts out the bookings so you never have to chase anyone.
What we need
A full driving licence, your own car, and a bit of patience. A DBS check is required and we pay for it.
